Du als Teil von Wildling:
Als Data Analytics Engineer (w/m/d – all genders welcome!) gestaltest und verantwortest du unsere Dateninfrastruktur ganzheitlich – von der Erfassung und Verarbeitung über ETL-Prozesse bis hin zur Bereitstellung von datenbasierten Insights. Du sorgst dafür, dass unsere Datenbasis skalierbar, wartungsfreundlich und analytisch verwertbar ist – und somit eine tragende Rolle bei der Entwicklung neuer Ideen und der Umsetzung strategischer Ziele spielt.
Diese Aufgaben erwarten dich:
Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für unsere gesamte Dateninfrastruktur – von der Datenintegration über die Modellierung bis hin zur Visualisierung (z.B. mit PowerBI und/oder Tableau, Looker, Microsoft Excel).
Du entwickelst unseren modernen Data Stack weiter (BigQuery, Fivetran, dbt, PowerBI).
Du entwickelst und pflegst eigene Custom-Konnektoren und API-Integrationen (z. B. mit Python, JavaScript, C#).
Du baust leistungsstarke Datenmodelle und optimierst ETL-Prozesse.
Du sorgst für eine hohe Datenqualität und unterstützt bei der effizienten Nutzung und Weiterentwicklung unserer Cloud-Infrastruktur auf GCP und/oder Microsoft Azure.
In enger Abstimmung mit unseren Stakeholdern analysierst du Daten, entwickelst Dashboards, und leitest Handlungsempfehlungen ab.
Damit bereicherst du uns:
Du bringst praktische und fundierte Erfahrung mit Google BigQuery, dbt und gängigen ETL-Tools wie Fivetran mit und weißt, wie man Datenmodelle effizient aufbaut und transformiert.
Du verfügst über relevante Programmierkenntnisse für Datenintegration (Python, JavaScript, C#).
Du verfügst über ein ausgeprägtes analytisches Denkvermögen, ein gutes Gespür für datenbasierte Zusammenhänge und kannst diese anschaulich visualisieren (z. B. in PowerBI).
Du kommunizierst sicher mit Stakeholdern, erfasst fachliche Anforderungen schnell und setzt sie zielgerichtet um.
Da wir im Team vorwiegend auf Deutsch kommunizieren, solltest du dich damit wohlfühlen und Sprachkenntnisse auf C1-Niveau mitbringen.
Du arbeitest eigenverantwortlich, bringst proaktiv Ideen und Lösungen ein und setzt sie um – immer mit einem klaren Blick auf das Ziel.
Idealerweise hast du bereits Erfahrung im E-Commerce gesammelt - kein Muss, aber ein Plus.

You as a part of Wildling Shoes:
As Data Analytics Engineer (f/m/d – all genders welcome!), you will design and take end-to-end ownership of our data infrastructure – from data collection and processing via ETL workflows to the delivery of actionable, data-driven insights. You ensure that our data foundation is scalable, maintainable, and analytically accessible, thereby playing a key role in the development of new ideas and the implementation of strategic goals.
Tasks to expect:
You will take ownership of our entire data infrastructure – from data integration and modeling to visualization (e.g. using Power BI and/or Tableau, Looker, Microsoft Excel).
You will further develop our modern data stack (BigQuery, Fivetran, dbt, Power BI).
You will develop and maintain custom connectors and API integrations (e.g. using Python, JavaScript, C#).
You will build high-performance data models and optimize ETL processes.
You will ensure high data quality and support the efficient use and continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure on GCP and/or Microsoft Azure.
In close collaboration with our stakeholders, you will analyze data, build dashboards, and derive actionable insights and recommendations.
We would like you to:
You have hands-on, in-depth experience with Google BigQuery, dbt, and common ETL tools such as Fivetran, and you know how to efficiently build and transform data models.
You possess relevant programming skills for data integration (Python, JavaScript, C#).
You have strong analytical thinking skills, a good sense for data-driven relationships, and the ability to visualize them clearly (e.g. using Power BI).
You communicate confidently with stakeholders, quickly grasp business requirements, and translate them into targeted solutions.
As German is the main language of communication within our team, you should feel comfortable with the language and have C1-level proficiency.
You work independently, proactively contribute ideas and solutions, and implement them with a strong focus on results.
Ideally, you already have experience in E-commerce – not a must, but definitely a plus.
